Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily form a thin film having superior superconducting characteristics by coating a heat resistant base material with a soln. of org. compds. of Bi, Sr, Ca and Cu including an org. carbonate compd. as at least one of the org. compds. and by calcining the resulting thin film in an oxidizing atmosphere.

CONSTITUTION: Org. compds. of Bi, Sr end Ca including an org. carbonate compd. as at least one of the org. compds. and Cu compd. are dissolved in a solvent such as DMF in about 1:1:1:2 ratio of Bi:Sr:Ca:Cu to prepare a soln. having 0.05-1mol/l concn. This soln. is sprayed on a heat resistant base material heated to 200-800°C in an atmosphere contg. oxygen or water to form a thin film of a precursor contg. the org. compds. This thin film is calcined at 700-900°C in an oxidizing atmosphere for several ten minutes - several ten hours.
