To provide a foundation machine and a method for attaching and removing shaft bodies capable of lengthening shaft bodies by addition or their removal at a working place above which obstacles are present and efficiently performing work such as excavation and pile driving.
The foundation machine is provided with a leader 7 mounted to a self-propelled vehicle; an elevating and lowering frame mounted in such a way as to be elevated and lowered along the leader 7; a vertical rotating device 19 mounted to the elevating and lowering frame; and an intermediate-insertion-type rotation driving device 16 mounted to a rotating body of the vertical rotating device 19 and inserted in shaft bodies for excavation or erection inside to dive them to rotate. The rotation driving device 16 is horizontally arranged to insert and remove piles, a screw auger, etc.
