To provide a frame body which can prevent water leakage from the indoor side part of a lower end cap provided on a vertical frame.

In this frame body, a head, a sill, and right and left jambs 10 and 10 formed in a hollow shape are framed in a square shape in the opening of a building; a lower end cap 40, which is provided at the lower end of the jamb 10, is equipped with a box-shaped main body part 41 which is inserted into a hollow part 10a of the jamb 10 from an end surface; and a top surface 42 of the main body part 41 is formed in such a shape as to be inclined downward to an outdoor side from an indoor side. In the jamb 10, a drain hole 13 is formed in the position of the top surface of the main body part 41 in a state in which the lower end cap 40 for an inside lateral surface is inserted.
