Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit network control information even when a user uses the network by realizing a function of inserting a network control tag storerd with the network control information into a user's frame.
SOLUTION: A node for relaying frames of the Ethernet (R) is provided with a means 201 that inserts two VLAN tags or more to the frames at the same time when relaying the frames and deletes the inserted VLAN tags, a TTL area denoting a live time of the frames is provided in the VLAN tags inserted to the frames, and the node checks whether or not the present time exceeds the live time depending on the value of the TTL area and discards frames whose live time expires without relaying the frames.
