Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the small-sized and lightweight apparatus by installing a cylinder block having a free piston inside a turbine and forming a combustion chamber between the cylinder block and the free piston.
CONSTITUTION: A cylinder block 8 having a free piston 9 is installed inside a turbine 6 having turbine blades 5. After the combustion gas supplied form the combustion chambers 10A and 10B between the cylinder block 8 and the free piston 9 is introduced into an expansion chamber 20, said gas is blown towards the turbine blades 5 from a blow-out port 21. Therefore, the apparatus can be made small-sized and lightweight.
