Abstract:
To provide a freeze dry method by which ice crystals (ice particles) are substantially uniformly led into all containers which are set within a freeze dry chamber, and a freeze dry device FM.SOLUTION: In a freeze dry method including: a freeze step of setting a container Gc filled with a liquid-state dried material Dm within a freeze dry chamber 1a which can be vacuumed, and freezing the dried material; and a dry step of drying the frozen dried material in a state where the inside of the freeze dry chamber is vacuumed, the freeze step includes: a first step of setting the inside of the freeze dry chamber to an atmospheric pressure and depositing frost in which ice crystals are coagulated, on a surface of a coolant 6 disposed within the freeze dry chamber; a second step of vacuuming the inside of the freeze dry chamber to a predetermined pressure equal to or lower than 10 kPa; and a third step of introducing a gas at a pressure equal to or higher than the atmospheric pressure from a gas introduction port 11 of a gas introduction line 12 which is provided inside of the freeze dry chamber oppositely to the coolant in a state where the liquid-state dried material is excessively cooled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
