Title:
FREQUENCY ADJUSTING DEVICE OF INDUCTION GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5678399
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To correctly make synchronized parallel operation of the generator together in an electric power system by a method wherein a steam regulating valve between a steam turbine driving an induction generator and a boiler is automatically adjusted comparing with the generator frequency and the system frequency. CONSTITUTION:A steam regulating valve 7 is arranged between a steam turbine 4 directly connected to an induction generator 1 and a boiler 5 to control a number of rotations of the steam turbine 4, and the steam regulating valve 7 for its opening is adjusted by means of a governor motor 8 which is connected to a governor synchronous shaft differential transformer 9. The secondary output of the differential transformer 8 and the frequency of a system bar 3 fed as inputs to an automatic speed arranging device 10, the governor motor 8 is driven by comparing with the generator frequency calculated from the secondary output and the system frequency to effect adjustment of the steam regulating valve 7. Accordingly, when the pointer of a deviation meter points at zero, a circuit breaker 2 is closed, thereby enabling the inrush current at the insertion of the generator to be attenuated.
