Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency sweep signal generation circuit capable of increasing a frequency sweep speed, widening a frequency sweep range, and granting high output spectrum purity (low output noise) of a frequency sweep signal.SOLUTION: The frequency sweep signal generation circuit comprises: a reference frequency source 110 which generates a reference frequency signal; a first frequency synthesis circuit 121 which is operated in a first frequency band and generates a frequency sweep signal within the first frequency band on the basis of the reference frequency signal; a second frequency synthesis circuit 122 which is operated in a second frequency band and generates a frequency sweep signal within the second frequency band on the basis of the reference frequency signal; a multistage switch 130 which is coupled and connected to output terminals of the first frequency synthesis circuit and the second frequency synthesis circuit; and a control circuit 140 which performs control while being coupled and connected to the first frequency synthesis circuit, the second frequency synthesis circuit, and the multistage switch, and alternately outputs the frequency sweep signal within the first frequency band and the frequency sweep signal within the second frequency band from the output terminal of the multistage switch.
