Abstract:
To enhance the strength of a friction liner against a centrifugal force during operation at a high temperature.
This friction liner is a dry friction device having a friction liner 10, for example, for a clutch friction wheel for the gear box of an automobile or a disc brake, and is formed approximately in a flat circular shape. It has a flat circular body of a friction material 16, and is provided with a cylindrical inner surface 12 and a cylindrical outer surface 14. At least one circular reinforcing zone 18 is arranged in the body 16 of a liner.
