Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a plurality of torque transmission patterns by a simple structure using one actuator.SOLUTION: A friction transmission device A1 comprises: torque transmission fixed rollers 4, 5 and 6; an actuator 15; idler rollers 7, 8 and 9; and a roller pair selection mechanism 10. The torque transmission fixed rollers 4, 5 and 6 are arranged at positions on circumferences which are radially separated from a center axial line O, and the actuator 15 is arranged at an end part of a selector shaft 16 which is arranged at a position of the center axial line O. The idler rollers 7, 8 and 9 are radially displaced when the selector shaft 16 is rotated by the actuator 15. The roller pair selection mechanism 10 comes in contact with at least one roller out of the torque transmission fixed rollers 4, 5 and 6 by the radial displacement of the idle rollers 7, 8 and 9, and selects a roller pair which is different in a torque transmission route by a rotation angle of the selector shaft 16.
