Abstract:
To provide a front body structure of an automobile, reducing weight while assuring the body stiffness.
A suspension cross member 25 is provided between right and left front side frames 8, and a wheel apron 11 is joined to an upper side frame 5 and the front side frame 8. A strut tower 15 is joined to the upper side frame 5, the front side frame 8, and the wheel apron 11. A reinforce strut tower 21 and the strut tower 15 provided between the upper side frame 5 and the front side frame 8 form a hollow closed cross section shape 21A extending in a vertical direction, and an end part of the suspension cross member 25 is joined to the front side frame 8 so as to be approximately consecutive to the closed cross section shape 21A.
