Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make positioning with a small number of part items when a front module having a bumper beam and a bulkhead is connected to a body frame.
CONSTITUTION: Two guide pin-shaped preassembling nuts 12 protruded backward are welded on the back face of a bulkhead 4, two preassembling bolts 13 penetrating a bumper beam 5 are screwed into the preassembling nuts 12, and the bumper beam 5 is preasembled on the front face of the bulkhead 4 to assemble a front module M. When the front module M is to be connected to a body frame F, the guide pin-shaped preassembling nuts 12 are coupled with a collar 14 provided on the flange 3 of the body frame F for positioning, and two assembling bolts 17, 17 are screwed into two assembling nuts 16 welded on the back face of the flange 3.
