Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the method and device for casting a wheel for vehicle while suppressing generation of casting defect and improving production efficiency, capable of continuous forming a high quality integrated wheel for vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: The mold main body 33 to form an integrated wheel for vehicle is provided with a recessed part 28 for plural risers placed in the upper part of rim flange forming space part of a cavity 27 at equal interval along the periphery of rim flange forming space part, a pair of sprues 29, 30 respectively communicating to the recessed part 28 for a pair of riser facing each other across the center axis of wheel and a first ladle, second ladle 31, 32. The mold main body 33 is placed on an oscillating base board 23 supported with a drive shaft 22, the first and second ladle 31, 32 are alternately both direction tilted at every shot across the center axis of wheel in order to alternately pour molten metal, a wheel for vehicle is continuously cast.
