Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate the installation of a steering mechanism or the like and prevent it from being damaged by connecting an engine mounting bracket to a front frame and forming a space part for installing the steering mechanism or the like between the engine mounting bracket and a cross member.

CONSTITUTION: An engine mounting bracket 3 is clamped between a front frame 1 and a cross member 2 so as to be connected. A block 8 as a supporting member is installed in a space part A formed between the upper face of the cross member 2 and the lower face of the engine mounting bracket 3, a front stabilizer 11 is supported at the front face of the block 8 through a supporting bracket 10, and a steering rack 13 is supported at the rear face of the block 8 through a rack bracket 12. Accordingly, a pinion gear provided at the tip of a steering shaft 14 is positioned in the space part A, resulting in protecting a steering mechanism and the like in the space part A with the cross member 2 and the engine mounting bracket 3, and the steering mechanism or the like is thereby prevented from being damaged.
