Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front fork capable of attaining a proper attenuation force irrespective of a running state at a braking time or at a steady running time.SOLUTION: An air passage 40 for communicating an upper space 16 and a lower space 17 defined by a ring body 15 is formed in the ring body 15, and there is formed a ring-shaped slide member 41 which is made to contact closely with the inner circumference and the outer circumference of the lower space 17. There is provided regulation means 49 for regulating the distance to a rod guide 6 of that slide member 41 at a constant position. Moreover, a spring 60 to be interposed between the ring body 15 and the slide member 41 is disposed in a spring chamber 17B over the slide member 41 in the lower space 17.
