Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting method and device for starting a rear wheel brake to work at a slightly earlier timing in a single operation in a device for simultaneously operating brake devices of front and rear wheels by operating either a left or right brake of a bicycle.
SOLUTION: A spacer 1 is mounted to an end of a device side front brake cable 4 or of a brake device side, which are engaged with an intermediate joint 1 where operating force of either right or left brake lever is collected, to generate difference in working of front and rear brakes by pulling the space 6 out in a single operation after adjusting the front and rear brakes, or the spacer 6 is mounted to an end of a device side front brake cable 5 or of the brake device side engaged with the intermediate joint 1 in a single operation to generate the difference in working of the front and rear brakes, and the rear wheel brake thereby works at a slightly earlier timing than the front wheel brake.
