Abstract:
To provide a front retardant functional device having long-lived water repellency and a long time (frosting time) up to being frosted and/or iced, even when the device is exposed to a low-temperature atmosphere.
The front retardant functional device is constituted by coating a composition containing 7 to 70 pts.wt. of specific organopolysiloxane having a silanol group with respect to 100 pts.wt. of a specific organopolysiloxane, on a surface having possibility of, being frosted and/or iced and curing the composition to form a coated film to a water-repellent surface.
