PURPOSE: To enhance the damping ability of a midship car by approaching the rising part of a radiator support cross member to a trunk room housing support cross member, and by fixing to the bend of a side member.

CONSTITUTION: In the car body front structure of a midship car, a side member 1 has a bumper cross member 2 fixed to its front end, and in the middle a bend 6 is formed with the front end set lower. Therein a support cross member 8 of a radiator 7 has its rising part 8a extended aslant backward and is jointed with the undersurface of the bend 6. With this is also jointed the rising part 9a of a support cross member 9 of a trunk room housing 3. Further on the outer panel 5 of the side member 1 a swell 10 in roof from is mounted suspendedly over the fixation parts of these cross members 8, 9.
