PURPOSE: To accurately detect the relative position of a child lift with respect to a substance in the forward direction by providing, at legs of the child lift, two sensors detecting that a leg has a specified or near distance with respect to the substance, and operating a display according to the respective detections.
CONSTITUTION: A sensor mounting unit 12 is set on the tip end of a leg 8 of a child lift 4. The unit 12 is provided with a photosensor 13 detecting when the leg 8 approaches a substance at a specified distance in the forward direction, and a proximity switch 14 detecting when it comes to a position near the substance. When the sensor 13 is operated, a pilot lamp 19 on the lift 4 or parent lift is put on, and a plot lamp 23 is put on by the operation of the switch 14. It is thus possible for an operator to confirm the position near the substance so as to accurately facilitate the loading even if he is apart from the leg 8 of the lift 4.
