Abstract:

PURPOSE: To construct an upper layer roadbed with high supporting ability at a low cost by mixing unscreened crushed stone and cement solidifying agent at a predetermined quantity and laying the mixture on a lower layer roadbed so as to be rolled thereon.

CONSTITUTION: Water supplement is performed to unscreened crushed stone made of conglomerate, sand and fine grain, if necessary, by spraying water. 93 to 99wt.% of the unscreened crushed stone and 1 to 7wt.% of portlandcement or mixed cement are mixed by an agitator or concrete mixer. On the lower roadbed constructed by laying crush running of CBR 30 or more on a roadbed, the mixture is laid and rolled. With this arrangement, it is possible to construct a roadbed with stable quantity at a low cost.
