To prevent holding rigidity of a shroud from excessively increasing, while vibrating a steering wheel by using vibration of the shroud in traveling.
This front vehicle body structure has a skeleton member 20 extending forward by going over an upper part of a front wheel 8 from a front pillar 1 for supporting the steering wheel 4, and the shroud 40 is arranged in front of a cabin. The shroud 40 is positioned in front of the front wheel 8. The skeleton member 20 and a shroud upper 42 constituting a part of the shroud 40 are connected by connecting mechanisms 50, 51 and 52 (60 and 61). The connecting mechanisms 50, 51 and 52 (60 and 61) transmit the vibration in the vertical direction of the shroud 40 to the skeleton member 20 while allowing relative displacement in the vertical direction to the skeleton member 20 of the shroud 40.
