To provide a frosting prevention device for a compressor in which frosting in a terminal box can be prevented with a simple structure, and to provide the compressor.
A frosting prevention device is applied to a compressor configured by separating the inside of a shell 10 into a low-pressure chamber 14 and a high-pressure chamber 13 and disposing a terminal box 16 which protects a power source connecting terminal 15, on an outer surface of the shell 10 in a portion where the low-pressure chamber 14 is positioned. The frosting prevention device includes: a heat receiving member 51 which is disposed in contact with the outer surface of the shell 10 in a portion where the high-pressure chamber 13 is positioned, and receives heat of the high-pressure chamber 13 via the outer surface of the shell 10, and a heat conduction member 52 which guides the heat received by the heat receiving member 51 to the terminal box 16.
