Abstract:

To provide a frozen young sardine having a taste with good texture immediately after pot-boiling and sanitary food conditions such as zero germ only by short-time and simple cooking, and a producing method capable of producing the frozen young sardine at a low producing cost.

A frozen young sardine is obtained by freezing young sardine food material 1 to which the seasoning is added and which includes moisture generating a required amount of steam S when it is heated by a microwave oven for required time in the state of being enclosed in the interior of a storing member 3 formed like a bag using raw material heated by the microwave oven.
