Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress influence of variations in the production of constitutional elements of a fuel cell.
SOLUTION: The pressure loss in an oxidizing gas passage 22 of a unit cell 20 is obtained by passing gas in the oxidizing gas passage 22, and measuring the difference between the gas pressure in a first pressure gauge 78 and the gas pressure in a second pressure gauge 78. The pressure loss is compared with a previously set rank to conduct ranking. The pressure loss of in the oxidizing gas passage 22 is in the specified allowable range, the allowable range is divided into two or more small ranges, and ranked in a first rank, a second rank, and an n-th rank every small rank. The value of the pressure loss in the oxidizing gas passage in the unit cell 20 which is a measuring target is ranked based on data it belongs to which rank of from the first rank to the n-th rank. Similar ranking is conducted on the pressure loss in a fuel gas passage. The unit cells in the same rank are collected and assembled to manufacture the fuel cell 10.
