Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety against high voltage of the fuel cell module at the maintenance work or the like of a vehicle.
SOLUTION: A service plug 50 is provided at the case 22 of a fuel cell module 20. The high voltage from the fuel cell stack 24 is outputted to a power- supply output cable 66 through the service plug 50. When the operator pulls out the service plug 50 from the fixing part 52 fixed in the case 22 by the plug part 54, the electrical connection between the inside of the case 22 where the high voltage of the fuel cell stack 24 is impressed and the outside of the case 22 where the power-supply output cable 66 or the like are arranged is cut off. The service plug 50 cuts off both the positive electrode and negative electrode of the fuel cell stack 24 at the same time. In the case of a fuel cell module 20 which is mounted at the front end part of the vehicle, the service plug 50 is arranged toward rear of the side part of the case 22, thereby avoiding damage at the time of collision.
