To provide a fuel cell system capable of effectively using a water source by supplying surplus water produced in a fuel cell to a window washer fluid tank.
This fuel cell system is provided with: a fuel cell body 1 having a fuel electrode 2 and an air electrode 3; a humidifier 5 for humidifying hydrogen and air supplied to the fuel cell 2 and the air electrode 3; and a moisture recovery unit 4 for condensing steam in an air exhaust gas exhausted from the air electrode 3 to supply it to the humidifier 5. A drain pipe of the moisture recovery unit 4 is connected to the window washer fluid tank 7 for storing a window washer fluid; a valve is opened and closed based on a signal of a water level sensor installed above it to control water supply to the fluid tank 7 from the recovery unit 4; and the quantity of water supplied to the fluid tank 7 is measured by a flow sensor to put a condensed washer fluid into the fluid tank 7 from its storage part according to the supply quantity thereof.
