Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of eliminating the decrease in cell voltage by recovering performance of a transformer.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system comprises voltage detection means 31 that detects cell voltage of a cell stack 21. When a control device 30 determines that a high-deterioration condition in which a degree of deterioration of a transformation catalyst 13a is high is satisfied and determines on the basis of a detection result of the voltage detection means 31 that a low voltage condition in which cell voltage drop abnormality has been arising in the cell stack 21 within a predetermined time after the start of a power generating operation of a fuel cell device 20 is also satisfied, the control device performs a special modifying process for decreasing the concentration of carbon monoxide in transformed gas discharged from a transformer 13. In addition, the control device sets a continuous time from the start to the end of a vapor modifying process performed by a fuel modifying device 10 to a special set time or longer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
