Abstract:
To realize optimal pilot injection control including expected control of fuel injection regardless of a variation in an ion current in a fuel injection control device of an internal combustion engine.
The existence of pilot injection is detected by detecting the combustion starting timing of main injection, and when its timing is later than the case when the pilot injection is performed, it is regarded as the pilot injection is not performed, and control is performed so as to increase the pilot injection.
