Abstract:

To alleviate a fuel injection shortage and inhibit the occurrence of operational noise associated with the increase in fuel pressure even when vapor is produced in a fuel supply system.

At the start of an engine, the fuel injection ratio of a direct-injection injector 20A is increased as compared with that of an air-intake path injector 20B and the fuel injection is carried out by the injectors. Then, the fuel injection ratio of the air-intake path injector 20B is set to be larger than that of the direct injection injector 20A after a predetermined time period set to be longer, when an estimated amount of the vapor is larger, elapses.
