Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability and exhaust property in a low-load region where a required fuel injection amount is smaller, by reducing a minimum fuel injection amount allowing injection with sufficient accuracy while reducing cost.SOLUTION: In an intake passage for each cylinder, a first fuel injection valve 6 to be driven by a first driving circuit 60 and a second fuel injection valve 7 to be driven by a second driving circuit 70 are arranged. The second fuel injection valve 7 is set at a relatively lower driving voltage and has relatively lower flow characteristics than the first fuel injection valve 6 which is set at a relatively high driving voltage and has relatively high flow characteristics. Thus, a minimum fuel injection amount obtained according to the injection pulse widths of the fuel injection valves 6, 7 is further reduced than the case of using the two first fuel injection valves 6, to improve the operability and the exhaust property.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
