Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device for an internal combustion engine to improve starting properties without being limited in the degree of freedom of a design for the peripheral structure of an injector.
SOLUTION: An injection control means 33A to drive the injector 5 of each cylinder according to a crank angle signal SGT, an operation state, and a cylinder discriminating signal A simultaneously injects fuel to only a cylinder not in a suction stroke after the generation of the cylinder discriminating signal. Provided a given amount is Fs and the number of cylinders N, a drive time of the injector is set such that a fundamental injection amount Fb at every one time to each cylinder satisfies a formula of Fb=Fs/(N-1) and a given amount during simultaneous injection is ensured and during control of simultaneous injection, injection of fuel to the cylinder under a suction stroke is prohibited and adhesion of fuel to an ignition plug is prevented from occurring.
