Abstract:

To block a valve opening voltage before a fuel injection valve reaches a full-open state, and then detecting closing of the valve.

A fuel injection control device (ECU) 5 supplied a valve opening voltage VF1, for example, +40 V, to a fuel injection valve 3. The ECU 5 may block the valve opening voltage before the fuel injection valve 3 reaches a full-open state to provide a minute fuel injection amount. A bypass control portion 7f supplies a bypass voltage VF2, for example, +1 V, to the fuel injection valve 3 for the valve opening voltage. A valve closing detecting portion 7c detects valve closing of the fuel injection valve 3 by detecting an inflection point from voltage induced in a coil 3c or a waveform of electric current flowing in the coil 3c. A correction amount calculating portion 7d calculates a correction amount on the basis of the detected valve closing time. The correcting portion 7e corrects a power supply time on the basis of the correction amount.
