To accurately achieve a minute fuel injection amount.
A fuel injection control device 5 has terminals 5a and 5b connectable with a coil 3c of a fuel injection valve 3. A first valve opening control portion 7b supplies valve opening voltage to open the fuel injection valve 3 to the terminals 5a, 5b. The first valve opening control portion 7b blocks the supply of the valve opening voltage before the fuel injection valve 3 reaches a full-open state. A minute injection amount is supplied in a short time before the fuel injection valve 3 reaches the full-open state. A demagnetization control portion 7c forms a demagnetization circuit between the terminals for demagnetizing magnetic energy remaining in the coil 3c by the supply of valve opening voltage after the valve opening voltage is blocked. The demagnetization circuit enhances attenuation of magnetic energy remaining in the coil 3c. As a result, the fuel injection valve 3 rapidly reaches a full-close state after the valve opening voltage is blocked. A normal injecting portion 7e closes the valve after the electric current is limited to keep the full-open state of the fuel injection valve 3. In a normal injection, demagnetization control is not executed.
