Abstract:
To provide a fuel injection controller and a fuel injection control method of promoting and stabilizing combustion irrespective of the operation condition of an internal combustion engine.
This fuel injection controller controls a fuel injection valve 21 for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber A of the internal combustion engine directly and changing direction of injection in accordance with amount of lift of a needle. Fuel is injected into a horizontal direction region when the internal combustion engine is in a compression process. The fuel injected into the horizontal direction region of the combustion chamber A flows in the combustion chamber A and generates flow in the mixed gas of fuel and air to promote and stabilize combustion.
