Title:
FUEL INJECTION DEVICE FOR ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03225071
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent fuel left and adhered to an atomizing means from flowing out to the engine side by vibration by controlling the atomizing means, disposed in the vicinity of the nozzle of an injector, to stop its vibration during the fuel cutoff of the injector.

CONSTITUTION: An atomizing means 4 and an injector 3 provided at an intake manifold 2 in the vicinity of a cylinder head 1 are connected to a control unit (ECU) 5, and the vibrator 41 of the atomizing means 4 and the fuel injection quantity of the injector 3 can be controlled by signals from the ECU 5. In case the fuel injection of the injector 3 is stopped by this control means, the vibration of the atomizing means 4 is stopped correspondingly. As a result, even if fuel is left and adhered to the atomizing means 4, such an existing problem as to further atomize this fuel or to feed the residual fuel around the injector 3 to the engine side by vibration can be dissolved.
