Title:
FUEL INJECTION NOZZLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01163466
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To lower an injection rate at the time of flow engine speed while increase the injection rate at the tie of high engine speed by determining the clearance area between a throttle shaft portion and the sliding portion of a body slidably surrounding the throttle shaft portion.

CONSTITUTION: A throttle shaft portion 29 for injecting a constant quantity of fuel from the injection port 35 of a nozzle body 2 is formed on the end of a needle valve 25. In this case, in a condition that a seat portion 30 is seated on a valve seat 36, a cylindrical portion 37 which surrounds the throttle shaft portion 29 while leaving a defined clearance is formed on the upper portion of an injection port portion 33 for housing the throttle shaft portion 29. The capacity of the clearance (a) with respect to the volume (v) per one cylinder of an internal combustion engine into which fuel is fed is set within the range of, 0.04≤a/v≤0.12. Thereby, neither too much nor too little fuel can be fed at the time of idling, to feed a proper quantity of fuel for combustion.
