Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the distortion of a cylinder due to the excessive tightening torque of a valve holder without changing the shape and dimension of a pump housing.
CONSTITUTION: A cylinder 3 fitted into the fitting hole 7 of a pump housing 2 is provided with a small diameter cylinder part 3a formed into thin shape, and a guide part 3b, and the flange face 3c of the guide part 3b comes into contact with the seat surface 7a of the fitting hole 7 to perform the positioning of the cylinder 3. A ring 9 is fitted to the outer periphery of the small diameter cylinder part 3a. This ring 9 has the outer diameter of the same size as the small diameter cylinder part 3a and provided in such a size that its upper end face protrudes slightly from the upper end face of the small diameter cylinder part 3a in the state of being fitted to the small diameter cylinder part 3a. The lower end face of a valve seat 14 disposed at the upper part of the cylinder 3 is thereby brought into contact with the upper end face of the ring 9 to form a fixed clearance S between the valve seat 14 and the small diameter cylinder part 3a.
