Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control fuel injection quantity at starting corresponding to the negative pressure within an intake path throughout the period of starting.
SOLUTION: An intake manifold 15 is provided with a throttle valve 181 and fuel injection valve 16. Upon starting the engine, an electronic control unit(ECU) 50 controls the throttle valve 181 so as to occlude the intake manifold 15. During the starting of an engine, a rotating number sensor 35 senses the rotating number of the engine, while the ECU 50 measure the period after cranking has started. The ECU 50 estimates fuel injection quantity in starting the engine based on the rotating speed of the engine and the period after starting cranking.
