Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional fuel injection system of easy constitution and control.
SOLUTION: This system has a constitution provided with an LPG supply conduit 31L to supply liquid phase LPG to an injector 2, a gasoline supply conduit 31G to supply gasoline to the injector 2, valves 41, 42 to open/close the fuel communication of the LPG fuel supply conduit 31L and the gasoline supply conduit 31G to select supply fuel to the injector 2 from either the liquid phase LPG or gasoline, and an ECU 6 to control the valves 41, 42 in according with conditions of an internal combustion engine, and supply fuel pressure is roughly similarly set between liquid phase LPG and gasoline, so the injector 2 injects fuel in the same liquid phase and at the same pressure, thereby two sorts of fuel can be favorably injected by use of the single injector 2 without complicating the constitution or control f the injector 2.
