Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve high in the degree of freedom for configuring a spray shape and short in a spray arrival distance so as to be able to reduce a fuel adhering to an intake valve or a cylinder inner wall surface if the fuel is directly injected into a cylinder.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve comprises: a valve seat surface contacting a valve element and seating thereon a fuel; and a plurality of fuel injection holes each including an inlet opening formed on the valve seat surface. The plurality of fuel injection holes include a first fuel injection hole and a plurality of second fuel injection holes, injection hole axes each connecting a center of an inlet of each of the plurality of second fuel injection holes to a center of an outlet thereof being arranged symmetrically about a symmetrical surface including a central axis of the fuel injection valve, and a center of an inlet opening of the first fuel injection hole being apart from the symmetrical surface without contacting the symmetrical surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
