Title:
FUEL INJECTION VALVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2017020447
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve which suppresses fuel leakage in a valve-closed state.SOLUTION: A fuel injection valve comprises: a valve housing 10 which has an injection hole 17 for injecting fuel into an internal combustion engine and a valve seat face 16 which is provided at the upstream side of the injection hole 17 and has a diameter contracted toward a downstream side; a valve member 40 which is accommodated in the valve housing 10 and opened and closed by being separated from and seated on the valve seat face 16 coaxially therewith, and intermittently pauses fuel injection from the injection hole 17; and an elastic member which energizes the valve member 40 toward the valve seat face 16. The valve member 40 has a protrusive curved face 440 formed into a circular shape in which a curvature radius center position Pc is defined on a vertical cross section, and protruding toward the valve seat face 16. The curvature radius center position Pc for determining a seating position Ps in which the protrusive curved face 440 is seated on the valve seat face 16 in a radial direction on the vertical cross section is defined closer to the seating position Ps side than a valve center line Lv of the valve member 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
