To provide an injector for promoting atomization of fuel by mixing air in the fuel flowing in a nozzle port with a simple structure.
An air introducing hole 542 communicates via clearance 55 with the nozzle port 51 composed of a fuel hole 531 of an upstream side plate 53 and a fuel hole 541 of a downstream side plate 54. When the fuel flows in the nozzle port 51, pressure in the nozzle port 51 reduces by a flow of the fuel. Thus, a pressure difference is formed in both end parts of the air introducing hole 542 for communicating with the nozzle port 51. Thus, the air is introduced to the air introducing hole 542 facing the fuel outlet side of the nozzle port 51. The air introduced to the air introducing hole 542 flows toward the nozzle port 51 via the clearance 55. The air collides with the fuel flowing in the nozzle port 51 in the inlet side clearance 55 of the fuel hole 541. Thus, the air is mixed in the fuel, and atomization of the fuel is promoted.
