Abstract:
To shorten the time of air bleeding operation by smoothly conducting the air bleeding from a fuel gallery, fuel piping, etc., when the fuel is being fed by pressure by operating a motor-driven feed pump.
A fuel piping 13 leads from a fuel tank 17 to the inside of a fuel gallery 3 via an oil feed pump 6, and a bypass passage 14 puts the pump inlet side of the piping 13 in communication with the inside of the gallery 3 so that it is made possible for the fuel in the tank 17 to flow into the gallery 3 without passing the pump 6, wherein the bypass passage 14 is equipped with a check valve 15 to preclude the fuel from counter-flowing from inside the gallery 3 toward the fuel tank 17.
