To provide a fuel pump more surely suppressing noise.
Blade trains 12, 14, 16, 18 each composed of a plurality of blades disposed along the peripheral direction of an impeller at an equal pitch angle are concentrically formed on the surface of the impeller 10 of the fuel pump. Four trains of flow passages which are mutually independent, extend along the row of each vane, and have an inflow end and an outflow end of fuel are formed on an inner wall surface of a case opposed on the surface of the impeller. When the impeller is rotated, the timing until the blades of the other blade row reach the outflow end after the blades of one blade row reach the outflow end of the flow passage, is shifted by each 1/4 phase. A pressure pulsation generated in each flow passage is shifted by 1/4 phase. Since a plurality of pressure pulsations are offset, the noise is suppressed.
