Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump which can be constituted while dispensing with a portion covering a stator core outer periphery of a metallic housing.SOLUTION: A fuel pump 1 includes: a stator core 2; a rotor 4 rotated by a rotating magnetic field formed in an inner peripheral side of the stator core 2; pumps 5, 54 sucking fuel with an impeller 10 rotating integrally with the rotor 4, and delivering the fuel to the rotor 4 side; resin housings 6, 41 integrally formed with the stator core 2 by insert molding; and metallic housings 7, 42 covering an outer periphery of the pumps 5, 54, and connected with an outer periphery of the resin housings 6, 41 on the pumps 5, 54 side rather than the stator core 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
