Abstract:
To provide a fuel pump which prevents a metal worn piece from exerting an adverse effect on a movable part of the fuel pump without making the metal worn piece resulting from slide rotation hardly generated since a washer is held on a bearing, and slide-rotates with respect to an intermediate member even if the bearing is formed by sintering metal powder, in the fuel pump in which a rotor of a motor part has the synthetic resin-made intermediate member interposed between a magnet and a motor shaft, and connecting the magnet to the motor shaft, and the metal-made washer is gripped between relatively-opposing faces of the intermediate member and the bearing which is fixed to a pump case.SOLUTION: When setting a friction coefficient between a washer 40 and an intermediate member 37 as μ1, setting a friction coefficient between the washer 40 and a bearing 51 as μ2, setting an outside diameter of a contact part between the washer 40 and the intermediate member 37 as D1, and setting an outside diameter of a contact part between the washer 40 and the bearing 51 as D2, the washer 40, the intermediate member 37 and the bearing 51 are constituted so as to satisfy a relationship of D1/D2<μ2/μ1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
