Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reforming device capable of improving an efficiency of reaction in reformation and restricting an excessive reaction.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a fuel reforming device 1 which reforms fuel having hydrogen carbide as its main constituent with application of air and comprises: a reforming part 150 arranged to extend along a gravity direction and having a plurality of reaction pipes 1501 filled with reforming catalyst 1504; and an inlet part 151 connected to a lower end of the reforming part 150 for feeding a mixed fluid F of fuel and air from lower ends of the plurality of reaction pipes 1501 toward their upper ends. Each of the plurality of reaction pipes 1501 shows that a distance from an optional position in a space formed inside each of the reaction pipes by clearances or fine holes to the wall surfaces of the space is equal to or less than a flame-out distance of the mixed fluid F. The inlet part 151 is formed to be filled with porous material and a distance from the optional position in a space formed inside them by clearances or fine holes to the wall surfaces of the space is equal to or less than the flame-out distance of the mixed fluid F.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
