Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel reforming system capable of supplying a reformed fuel stable in an octane value to an internal combustion engine without using a plurality of tanks.SOLUTION: A fuel reforming system 1 includes a circulation return pipe 72 connecting a reforming reactor 3 and a tank 71, a mixed fuel recirculation pipe 75 connecting the tank 71 and a mixer 2, a reformed fuel supply pipe 77 for an engine connecting the tank 71 and an internal combustion engine, and a circulation fuel pump 76 for pressure-feeding the reformed fuel to the mixer 2. A fuel storage vessel 711 of the tank 71 is divided into a circulated fuel storage vessel 715 and a reformed fuel storage vessel 716 by partitioning walls 712-714, at least bottom portions of the partitioning walls 712-714 are provided with clearances to allow the reformed fuel to flow so that water levels of the circulated fuel storage vessel 715 and the reformed fuel storage vessel 716 are equalized, a suction port of the mixed fuel recirculation pipe 75 and a discharge port of the circulation return pipe 72 are disposed on the circulated fuel storage vessel 715, and a suction port of the reformed fuel supply pipe 77 for the engine is disposed on the reformed fuel storage vessel 716.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
