Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel vapor leakage detection device for enabling improvement of detection accuracy of fuel vapor leakage.SOLUTION: A fuel vapor leakage detection device 1 for detecting fuel vapor leakage from a fuel tank 5 and a canister 6, includes: a tank cover 33 that forms a leak check chamber 330 having a fixed volume smaller than a content volume of the fuel tank 5 so as to cover the fuel tank 5; leak check piping 35 that forms a leak check passage 350 for communicating the leak check chamber 330 with inside of the canister 6; a pump 41 that can reduce pressure in the canister 6 and the leak check chamber 330; a pressure sensor 31 that can detect pressure in the canister 6 and the leak check chamber 330; a leak check valve 37 for communicating/blocking inside of the fuel tank 5 and inside of the canister 6 with/from each other; and a control section 43 for controlling operations of the pump 31 and the leak check valve 37.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
