Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a fullerene complex having extremely raised utility as a material, by improving fracture strength without impairing characteristics of fullerene crystal of its own such as plastic deformation ability and processing and setting properties.
CONSTITUTION: An extremely fine fullerene crystal having 5-50nm crystal fine particle such as C60 crystal is used as a matrix and a reinforcing material comprising a mixture of carbon nanotube, carbon nanocapsule and an unavoidable monolithic carbon-based impurity is combined with the matrix. The amount of the reinforcing material combined is 15-45wt.% based on the matrix.
